One Step to the Finish Line

Some candidates were given the opportunity to compete internationally in a beauty pageant twice or even thrice and still not able to at least make it at the Top 10 to bring honor to their countries.

Other candidates wasted no time to raise to the top. They once made it as semi–finalist and whatever mistake they committed in one pageant, they make sure they perfected it on their second attempt thus they become winners.

Other candidates almost made it as winner but unfortunately it was not their night thus they become first runner up. The table below shows the rise to the top of once semi–finalist in one beauty pageant who eventually became as first runner up in another beauty pageant.

There are also those who are repeaters on their local pageants and since they know how painful it is to become losers, they tried their best to become winners internationally although it was one notch short. Janine Tugonon (Philippines) and Mariangel Ruiz (Venezuela) faced the same fate.
