In 21 July 1974, Helen Morgan represented Wales at Miss Universe pageant in Manila and emerge as First Runner Up.
On 22 November 1974, she then represented United Kingdom at Miss World pageant held in London and emerge as Winner. She resigned four days after she was crowned when media find out that she was a unwed mother already.
When Amparo Munoz who was crowned Miss Universe 1974 resigned, the first runner up should continue her reign.
Should Helen Morgan was not yet a mother in 1974, she would have been the "one and only" girl who was able to capture both the Miss World and Miss Universe crown.
