Stage Mishap

The evening gown competition in a beauty pageant shows the elegance of candidates in a highly couture evening gown or a ballroom gown. If this girl is escorted by a man in an event, will she stand out from the rest? Will she have poise? Is she pretty enough “for display”?

All throughout man’s evolution, woman is designed to be beautiful. She is designed to be fabulous. One way to measure it is how she stands out with other girls from other nations. How she carry herself along with a seven incher stiletto would show how confident she is with what she has. But that is not an easy task. It requires balance and coordination. And to be put on a magnifying glass or to be rotated by a camera at 360 degrees to check every aspect of your feminity is even difficult thus there are girls who fall from stage. Falling on stage is embarrassing but how you redeem yourself out of that fall shows dignity.

In a beauty pageant, what could possibly happen to a candidate? Stepping at the hem of her gown and fall would be one of it. Slipping from the floor of the stage would be another. Unbuckling of the shoe while walking is another one. Falling from the steps of the stage is another common thing. Here are some of those samples.

Ramp models earn thousands of dollars simply because of their image. Their ability to carry themselves on the ramp is jaw dropping. A beauty pageant stage is one big ramp. If there are those who fall from stage, there are those who use the stage as their playground. Who could do that well but a Victoria’s Secret model? Here are sample videos which girls could then use to emulate their stage performance in a beauty pageant.
