Miss Universe Ten Highest Swimwear Scores

Scoring high in the swimsuit competition requires adjustment not skill. Any girl can do a catwalk but not all girls can adjust on the stage and own that stage. As I watch, rank and analyze this girls who scored high in the swimsuit competition, I realize that it’s not really how they walk but it’s how they own the stage to complement them.

Oxana Federova may have been dethroned but the record she set at that 2002 swimsuit competition would be hard to defeat. That 46 seconds swimsuit performance at the 2002 Miss Universe pageant is an achievement of lifetime and a record any future candidate should defeat and that should set as a standard to outperform. It is a paradigm of excellence. She made the stage so heavenly that it’s as if she is an angel descending from heaven.

Alicia Machado’s performance on the other hand is more on a perky type because the concept was the antiquated Las Vegas. Her smile is so natural. To project that kind of smile you have to think of something that really makes you happy thus it exudes in her confidence when she walk and even complement it with a body shake.

Another thing that I have notice about this girls who scored high in swimsuit is their hair–do. Two things: let it down or brush it up!

Wendy, Minorka and Taryn all made their hair the very simple yet elegant brush up or a bun. The rest of the girls made their hair down. Only Oxana made her hair down yet straight. The rest of the girls made it curly and voluminous.

Take note that this girls represent a 14–years duration (1988 – 2002) study and represents Latina, Black, Asian & Caucasian and they all did well.

If you are reading this blog, can you do me a favor? Pull up the calculator on your desktop, play the video, pause it when the score appeared on the screen and do a manual calculation. Is it adding up or was it short?
