She was the last Miss Venezuela crowned under the Miss Venezuela Beauty Pageant. Julia Morley of Miss World Organization wanted to have candidates sent to their pageant selected from a separate pageant thus Miss World Venezuela was born.
Since then, Venezuela failed to enter the Top 10.
